Mission Internship position allows you to fill a vital role in one of EM’s partner communities. A team of two to five students consisting of a trip coordinator, outreach coordinator, and construction coordinator will spend six to ten weeks of their summer in a cross-cultural community, serving and building relationships. Below are some of the responsibilities that this position requires.
Leadership – You will provide leadership and logistical support for short-term mission teams, making sure they don’t have to worry about critical things like work projects, housing, food, water, and transportation.
Community – You will be able to invest yourself in the people of the community as you work alongside them to ensure that EM’s service is practical and appropriate.
Challenge - You’ll be pushed out of your comfort zone as you join a two to five person leadership team in one of our partner communities.
Culture - You will be embarking on a journey full of cross-cultural experience as you immerse yourself into the community you are assigned. Whether you are in an international location or a domestic location, all of EM’s communities give you a good dose of culture.
Vision - You will have the opportunity to work on specific assignments associated with the community vision, while developing video and audio stories to be able to share the story and vision with others.
