Whether you're a married couple or an individual, whether you desire to see and understand a place firsthand or connect with people who exist only as stereotypes or news stories in your mind, this program is for those with decades of life under their belt who are ready for a new perspective.
IMMERSION Perspective(s) trips set you right in the middle of communities and cultures with space to engage with your whole self, pushing into years of wisdom and discernment, taking the time to challenge the status quo and what you have always been told about God, yourself, and the world at large.
Join EM's first mission trip for more “senior” adults—whether retired, empty nesters or simply passionate baby boomers or Gen-X-ers. Travel to South Africa and the U.S.-Mexico Border in Fall 2024 to deepen your faith and experience a new pocket of God’s big world for yourself. Gain knowledge firsthand, and challenge your assumptions. Engage in meaningful discussions about God, wonder, mystery, yourself, and all people.
