WHO CAN SERVE IN OUR PARTNER COMMUNITIES?

Experience Mission has developed trips for all ages. In the summer we have active youth mission trips that include junior high and senior high teams. In every partner community location there are college mission trips as well as other opportunities for college students. We have adult mission trips throughout the year and you can plan a family mission trip with a group of at least 14 adults. Please call our office for more information about any one of our short term mission trips.

WHERE DOES EXPERIENCE MISSION SEND VOLUNTEERS?

Each year Experience Mission sends thousands of people into our partner communities to serve and provide hope to others. In our domestic locations, we have Rural Mission Trips on the Navajo Reservation and in Appalachia. The Native American trips locations are in Arizona and New Mexico. Our Appalachia trips include West Virginia and Kentucky.

Other US locations include our urban cities. On both coasts, we have the two big cities where you can come and serve - Los Angeles (Hollywood) and New York City. If you live near the Rockies or would like to visit Colorado, come join us in Denver. In the midwest we have great opportunities in Chicago with other great partners in Atlanta and Portland, Maine.

Our international locations include several countries in Africa and in Europe. There are Scotland trips during the summer months. In Latin America, come and join us in Honduras or spend a week on the Bribri Reservation in Costa Rica.  You can also head north and spend a week serving in Belize or Mexico. If you've never been to the Caribbean, come and work alongside locals in Jamaica or Haiti. Whatever location you choose, there are God memories you won't forget.

WHAT ARE THE VARIOUS WAYS PEOPLE CAN GET INVOLVED?

Our mission can be divided into three areas of focus: Volunteer Mobilization, Leadership Development, and Community Empowerment. Our focus to mobilize people provides literally hundreds of different mission opportunities for all ages. Our focus to develop leaders provides opportunities for an emerging generation through our College Internship Program. There are ways to serve through our Logistics Coordinator Internship and Cross-Cultural Internship. We also have 6 month and 3 month trips through our program called Immersion which allows students to study abroad in a missions environment. Our focus empowering communities is driven by our Model for Mutual Influence and Model for Sustainable change.
